Ladies Section
South Staffs has a well established Ladies Section. Ladies golf competitions are organised by the Ladies Committee who schedule a wide range of competitions across the whole year as well as organising Open Days and Invitation Days.
The Ladies play the majority of their competitions on Tuesdays and also have numerous medals and stablefords on Saturdays and Sundays.
Nine hole competitions are also available most weeks.
The Ladies also hold a number of Free Taster Sessions for Lady beginners with financial assistance provided by the EGU/EWGA through their, Free Golf Grant Aid Scheme.

The South Staffordshire Golf Club has hosted the 84th Staffordshire Ladies County Championships.
Congratulations to Julie Brown of Trentham Golf Club on winning the 2011 County Championship. Julie also achieved a notable double as she also had the best gross score of 150 in the qualifying strokeplay event.

Best Nett (36 holes): Olivia Raybould (South Staffs) 138 nett.
Intermediate Champion: Charlotte Stanton (Oxley Park) 169 gross.
Intermediate Best Nett: Emily Mumford (Oxley Park) 159 nett.
